Celebrate Europe’s Spirit at EuroFest 2025 Burnaby

Vancouver, BC - April 13, 2025 - On Sunday, May 25, 2025, from 11 AM to 6 PM, the EuroFest BC Society invites you to the European Festival at the Slovenian Hall (5762 Sprott Street, Burnaby). This vibrant celebration brings the sounds, tastes, and traditions of Europe to the Lower Mainland—no passport required!

For over two decades, EuroFest has showcased the rich cultural heritage of Europe through music, dance, food, and visual displays. Originally launched at Alliance Française Vancouver, the festival later found homes at Granville Island, the Scandinavian Centre, Swangard Stadium, and most recently, the Maple Ridge Country Fest. This year, it returns as an independent event, stronger than ever.

Attendees can look forward to a full day of activities:

A colourful flag parade during the Opening Ceremony
Welcoming remarks by MLAs, Mayors, and European Consul Generals
Non-stop stage performances celebrating European music and dance
Cultural displays from 30+ communities
A bustling marketplace with hard-to-find European goods
Face painting, arts & crafts, and play stations in the Children’s Tent
Delicious food from trucks and vendors offering gourmet items
A lively beer garden and dancing opportunities

EuroFest also offers opportunities for local businesses and community groups. Vendor booths (10 ft x 10 ft) are available for just $60, with sponsorship packages ranging from Bronze to Platinum. Donations for raffles or silent auction items are warmly welcomed.

The mission of the EuroFest BC Society is to promote cultural diversity, celebrate heritage, and offer a fun, inclusive space for people of all ages. Whether you're European-born, have European roots, or simply love exploring different cultures, there’s something for everyone at EuroFest.
