These enhancements are designed to transform the Wharf into a more vibrant and functional community space.

Community Engagement

The City conducted a comprehensive public engagement process, including an online feedback form and a pop-up event at the Wharf on March 15, 2025. The feedback collected is being compiled into an engagement report, which will be presented to Council and the public at the April 14 Regular Council Meeting. Let's Talk Delta+1delta.ca+1Let's Talk Delta+1Let's Talk Delta+1

The Wharf enhancements are a component of the 2025 Ladner Village Revitalization Action Plan, which encompasses multiple projects aimed at rejuvenating the area. Other initiatives include upgrades to Chisholm Street Wharf, development of new pedestrian pathways, and the introduction of pop-up parks and events to enliven the village atmosphere. Let's Talk Delta+5delta.ca+5delta.ca+5
