Nashville International Airport Announces 100th Nonstop Flight

Nashville International Airport (BNA) has hit a major milestone with the launch of its 100th nonstop destination—Southwest Airlines' new service to Memphis, Tennessee. This marks the airport’s first intrastate route and is part of an aggressive expansion to 114 nonstop destinations by August 2025.

The airport is also bolstering international travel options. On April 10, Icelandair began service to Reykjavík, and Aer Lingus launched flights to Dublin on April 12. These routes signal BNA’s rise as a global hub, connecting Music City to Northern Europe and beyond.

By the end of April, BNA will operate 109 nonstop routes. That number climbs to 113 by summer and hits 114 on August 5 with a new Southwest flight to Louisville, Kentucky.

Envisioning the New BNA Terminal

The airport rolled out its #SummerOf100 campaign to celebrate, encouraging travelers to explore new destinations and engage on social media using #BNASummer and #SummerOf100.

This rapid growth enhances connectivity and reflects the region's economic vibrancy, positioning BNA as a central player in international and domestic travel.
